My yoga workshops,
"Fertility Concerns: Reducing Stress," offer a chance for women facing this special
challenge to explore together how simple yoga postures and breathing
exercises can help them manage their lives with less stress. The
workshops emphasize stress reduction in a holistic sense, and also
include some postures and other elements focused on fertility. Please contact
us with any questions or to arrange a workshop for your
organization.

There is documented
evidence that mind-body approaches, including yoga, can help boost
fertility rates. However, evidence about specific correlations
between yoga and fertility is mostly anecdotal. Here are links to

Yoga students often ask
for recommendations about DVDs. Yoga DVDs vary
widely in style and also in their assumptions about the viewer’s
level of experience. There are some DVDs that focus on yoga and
fertility. Much of what they cover overlaps with practices that
appear in
a wide variety of DVDs on gentle yoga, restorative yoga, yoga for
stress reduction and yoga nidra (a guided, progressive relaxation
sequence), all of which emphasize relaxation. You may want to buy or borrow (check at your public
library) a few different ones to see which you like best. Sometimes
the viewer comments on websites that sell these DVDs can be
helpful.
